Who We Are

Ryan Carr is a Clinical Investigator and Assistant Professor of Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His research program aims to use first principles of evolutionary ecology to better understand and treat pancreatic cancer. Thus, the lab strives to develop iterative cycles of mathematical modeling and experimentation to study and more effectively treat the malignancy.

Research Associates

Luis Cisneros’ research interests revolve around studies of the mechanisms governing the emergence of collective behavior in complex systems, with emphasis in spatial organization and distributed information dynamics driving adaptive responses of groups of interacting units, in particular living systems.

Trainees

Deniz Toruner is a medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She previously studied computational biology and currently is interested in developing computational methods for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
